The Role
As an Underground Shift Supervisor at Cowal Gold Mine-the largest project Redpath has ever undertaken-you'll be the driving force behind daily underground operations. This is a five‑year full‑time contract with strong potential for extension, working across both production and development on a major, long‑life project. You'll lead crews, allocate resources, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards, all while living Redpath's motto: "Consider it done - safely."
This position operates on an even-time 2/2 roster, giving you genuine work-life balance while contributing to one of Australia's most significant underground mining developments.

- Plan and coordinate shift tasks with site leadership
- Allocate machinery and work areas
- Supervise, mentor, and support underground crews
- Ensure compliance with SWIs, mine plans, and Redpath standards
- Complete shift reports, timesheets, and operational documentation
- Champion safety, environmental, and quality performance
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- NSW Supervisory Ticket
- Underground hard‑rock mining experience
- Relevant licences and certifications
- Manual driver's licence
- Strong work ethic and a safety‑first mindse
