Successful candidates may be responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating and executing major capital projects safely and efficiently.
- Managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitoring project scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
- Supporting project planning, scheduling and reporting activities.
- Administering construction contracts and ensuring contractual compliance.
- Identifying and managing project risks while implementing mitigation strategies.
- Promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ensuring compliance with Barrick's Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability standards.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- Experience in mining, heavy civil construction or large industrial projects.
- Knowledge of project management principles and construction best practices.
- Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning software is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- English proficiency is considered an advantage for several roles.
